Il corredino is a small store dedicated to the newborn clothing. It's located in Conversano, near Bari (Puglia). The space is designed as a small house with a table in the center of the room and two cabinets on the walls. In a corner of the room there is the white and minimal volume of the check-out. What makes the project interesting is the large window that projects the interior on the road enveloping the viewer in an intimate and friendly atmosphere. The furniture was made by local craftsmen. The iron supports are varnished in pink and green pastel colors. The old farmer scale has been reinterpreted with a more minimalist taste in order to obtain light elements to be placed on the wall on which expose the small clothes. The tables are, however, the result of the assembly of various modules like a patchwork. The modules are obtained by the folding of perforated foils with two different hole diameters. The space is characterized by the lightness of the weights and the delicacy of the colors. The light has a key role in this project. Three "festoons" of lamps enliven the ceiling and, along with the hand-made neon sign, make the space a little more playful.
